The President designate of the Methodist Church, Rev Dr Barbara Glasson, is inviting people to walk to the Annual Conference in Birmingham. Setting off from Huddersfield on June 14th, the walk will follow canal towpaths southwards to arrive at the NEC for June 25th. The theme for Barbara’s Presidential year is ‘So what’s the story …?” and she is inviting people to share stories as they travel along. They will be sowing wildflower seeds as a mark that the Church is passionate about environmental issues.
