Hannah Bladon Memorial Lecture

Start: 23rd May 2017 5:00 pm

a lecture has been organised at the University of Birmingham in memory of Hannah Bladon, the Birmingham student murdered in Jerusalem by a terrorist on Good Friday.

At the request of the father of Hannah Bladon, Professor Yosef Garfinkel is going to give a lecture in her honour on 23rd May at 5pm.  Prof. Garfinkel - Professor of Prehistoric Archaeology and of Archaeology of the Biblical Period at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem - happens to be in the UK at that time and has offered to come to Birmingham to do this. The title of his lecture will be 'The Quest for the Historical King David'. He will present the excavations at Khirbet Qeiyafa and Khirbet el Rai (where Hannah excavated during her trip).

The lecture will probably take place in G15 of the Muirhead Tower.  tbc

It is a public lecture.  So, spread the word....
