LLYS GWYNT, OLD MILL ROAD, DWYGYFYLCHI, CONWY,
Rooms: 1 double and 1 single. Bathroom, lounge, conservatory and spacious garden available for the sole use of retreatants. Room for day retreats/quiet days/away days for up to 10. Other rooms available for day visitors.
Notes: David and Zoya moved toLlys Gwynt in May 2015 to fulfil a vision of opening their home to people of all faiths or none. It offers a small, quiet retreat opportunity for those needing space and a place to be. David and Zoya can be on hand to offer a listening ear, pastoral counselling and prayer if needed. It has room for one or two residential retreatants at any one time and space for small groups on a daily basis. Day visitors can lead themselves or be led by either David and/or Zoya.
Llys Gwynt is a mile off the A55 and 4 miles west of Conwy. It is set at the foot of the Sychnant Pass amid low hills and green pastures. It is a haven of tranquillity. There are many walks from the cottage and eating places within walking distance. Local buses go to Conwy, Llandudno and Bangor. The cottage has one or two steps between some ground floor rooms and has stairs to the bedrooms.
For residents, meals can either be shared with David and Zoya or prepared by the retreatant and eaten alone. Day groups will be offered light refreshments throughout the day and a simple lunch can be prepared if needed.
Hospitality is the key - we recognise the need to offer a bespoke format that works for individuals and groups.
